Tony Jackson Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut

One of the most talked about singers in Nashville today, Tony Jackson, made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday February 23.


Best known for his rendition of the George Jones standard, “The Grand Tour,” Jackson continues to record and tour on the strength of his unique approach to traditional country. The former U.S. Marine arrived on the scene with his debut album Tony Jackson in 2017, and has garnered over 62 million Facebook views for his videos to date and has charted four singles.  

His recordings and videos have included songs and/or appearances by some of the music industry’s elite artists including:  Bill Anderson, Vince Gill, John Sebastian and Steve Cropper.

Tony Jackson will be presented on the Opry stage by “Whispering Bill” Anderson, who penned two songs on Jackson’s debut album (“They Lived It Up” and “I Didn’t Wake Up This Morning”).
