A mystical rock and roll exuberance of intergalactic harmony. That’s one way to describe the group Space Apaches. They are truly out of this world. Hailing from the great state of North Carolina these guys know how to express the full scope of what music should do…….enlighten you. This new release has every thing.
The pentacle of passion, Space Apaches emit killer synth type/organ and guitar sounds that bite like Santana even though some might say they are more in line with Aerosmith and/or early Eagles. The group has the outstanding ability to propel their listeners into the future and back to the past in one cosmic spin.
Track one, “Entry” is like entering a time warp jump. The wait and anticipation builds then you take off with super sonic speed as you break the sound barrier entering a world of pure light. Introducing Space Apache’s “Entry” …freedom from darkness, freedom from oppression. It creates a space, time, continuum in your brain that takes you on a futuristic journey to eternal life. Why? Because the song is timeless.
Space Apache’s will take you on a ride through new melodious galaxies. From Country to Rock, across the music worm hole for a solar blast of 80’s and 90’s rock guitar and a psychedelic trek through a Tom Petty space jump.
“Smile” opens with hot synth organ and ripping guitar. The percussion is right on time and grooving bass rifts fill your ears with tight knit of country rock. Smile no matter what your going through. Even through all the pain keep that “Smile” going.
Their music is driven, full and fast, your blood will be pumping through the entire album. The group believes that hard work and dedication toward making great music is the key to making exceptional albums and, that when they are touring, they are then able to give 110% to make the show the best it can be for the fans. Albums don’t just make themselves it takes commitment. Quality is a must for these guys and it shows.
“Empty” begins slow and purposefully to bring you in on a smooth cosmic rhythm. The message could be telling us that without love and being with the one you love life is nothing but empty.
Relaxed and inviting is what you’ll find from these space men on a mission. Their music is real down to earth and not computer generated. It’s true authentic talent. Space Apache’s have no fear in being themselves and presenting their art in the same. It’s a mixture of exotic rock music from every decade woven in to the time machine of sound. Blended with a hint of country, as you would find in a fine bourbon and field of fresh tobacco.
