Born and raised in beautiful India and now making his home in the always magnificent Switzerland , Ajay Mathur has compiled an evergreen collection that will impress and excite the senses.

“9 to 3” is a unique and intriguing collection of pop, rock, psychedelic richness and it’s sure to be a huge hit. Filled with clear and concise originality and individualism partnered with great wisdom and talent, this album is a winner.

In 2011 Ajay released “A Matter of Time” and then in 2013 he released “ Come See Conquer”, both received outstanding reviews from around the world as well as producing 4 award winning singles from 2011 to 2012. His talent is far reaching and timeless. He has truly mastered his musical genius.

The compilation of “9 to 3” consists of 15 songs, each unique and inspirational. I love his creative artistry by using his own life experiences to express “real” life and all it’s “glory.”

His blending of instruments is unusual and yet works so well for the lyrics and the presentation of each song. Each song connects various cultures and worlds together in a eclectic blend as he weaves his views on romance, politics, humor, and life in general.

This is a mind blowing collection of one of a kind creations. Each song is unique in itself. The first one I reviewed was “Sitting By Your Cradle”,, it was a little too dark for me. But I will say it was superbly done. It did not stop me from pursuing the album, it intrigued me.

I jumped down to “Tell Me Why” and it immediately grabbed my attention. It took me back to my teenage years during the 70’s. It’s not seventies music but more along the lines of a blend of 60’s and 70’s blues, pop and mellow rock. I really like this one, it’s a keeper.

“Password Love” brought out Bowie with a wild and crazed impression of Ozzie Osborn. Once again a harder rock but nice.

His accolades are impressive with 2011 as Finalist in the Show Me The Music competition and

2012 Finalist in the Unsigned Only Songwriting competition. His early accolades during the 80’s and 90’s with his then rock group “Mainstreet” solidified him in the industry. Sold out tours, singles and albums making the top twenty on Swiss radio, and an outstanding 4 weeks at Tokyo’s Hard Rock Cafe.
