Nashville’s The Darlins to open for Montgomery Gentry

Making dreams come true in Nashville is not always easy. In a world where hundreds of new artist’s plant their feet daily, the roller coaster ride can be rough. For the Darlins, Erinn Bates and Jude Toy, that ride is rocking and rolling in a great way.

2013 has brought so many new and exciting things to the duo that rising to the top is the only place left to go. The Darlins were selected from a group of over 600 contestants, all competing to gain the opportunity to open for one of Nashville’s most popular legendary vocal duo’s, Montgomery Gentry.

Montgomery Gentry, comprised of Kentucky natives Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry began their road to success in the early 1990’s while working with Eddie’s brother John Michael Montgomery. The duo of Montgomery Gentry was officially founded in 1999. Best known for their southern rock influence, the duo have worked closely with greats such as Toby Keith, The Allman Brothers Band, and Charlie Daniels.

With elation and high spirits the Darlins are now preparing for the big show on September 19th in Richmond VA with show time at 6:pm, and want to remind all the fans that they are so appreciative of the support and dedication shown to them throughout this years fast paced agenda.

Playing show’s at Tootsie’s Bar, The Blue Bird Cafe, The Filling Station and more, Jude and Erinn haven’t slowed down for a second. Along with their nightly show’s, the duo are working closely with seasoned and extremely talented writers, producers, and engineers to produce a hit making album which is set for tentative release sometime in early 2014. Title track off the album “Pistol” is all that and more.

The earthy blues, folk, and soulful tantalizing sounds of the new album will draw you in and keep you there. The Darlins are definitely on the watch list for chart topping songs in 2014.

Jude and Erinn met at the world renowned Sephora Cosmetics in Nashville, where they show another side to their talents as make up artists. Partnering together with Sephora Cosmetics the Darlins are hopeful to have their own line of products with Sephora while also giving the customers a special treat by performing show’s in select stores through out the country.
