MAFIAoZAs 12South Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub To Be Featured on The Cooking Channel’s LATE NIGHT EATS Nashville

MAFIAoZAs 12South Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub is excited to announce that the restaurant will be featured on The Cooking Channel’s LATE NIGHT EATS, Nashville.

This Fall, the Cooking Channel and Chef Jordan Andino take a multi-city road trip to find the best dishes available after-dark in the new thirteen-episode series, LATE NIGHT EATS.

In each episode, Jordan visits a brand-new city and three exceptional local restaurants that reign supreme in the late-night food scene. Each spot is cooking up something truly spectacular and revolutionizing what it means to eat out long after dark. Jordan meets the passionate chefs behind each location in their kitchen to cook up their signature dishes, mingle with late-night diners and taste their most popular after-hours dishes.

Brett Corrieri, MAFIAoZAs Executive Chef, cooks up a few popular menu items with Chef Andino. The Chefs prepare the deep-fried ravioli cheese sticks, the Last Request pizza and MAFIAoZA’s signature marinara sauce.

Chef Brett states “Since Michael Dolan, Lars Kopperud and myself opened MAFIAoZAs in 2003, our vision has always been to be more than just a place to get great Italian food and pizza. Our goal has always been to be the place for friends and family to gather and create memorable experiences, to be a home away from home.”

Chef Brett adds “When we first opened we looked around Nashville and realized that there really were not a lot of good options for people to get real food late at night. That’s when we decided to stay open late to give those that are up that late a place to call home. We are surrounded by colleges, so the students appreciate that they can order great food at 1:00 a.m. Being Music City, musicians getting out of the studio at 2:00 a.m. enjoy that they can grab a glass of wine, a slice of pizza or a plate of pasta and decompress from the day. Another large part of why we are open late is to give all the other Nashville service industry people a place to go after work. When you’ve worked a long shift on the line or serving tables, it can be difficult to go right home and go to bed. By serving a full menu until 3:00 a.m., we give those in the service industry a place to gather and wind down.”

The Nashville show will air on Thursday, November 16 at 9:00 p.m. CST; Friday, November 17 at 1:00 a.m. CST and Sunday, November 20 at 1 p.m. CST.

The Cooking Channel can be seen locally on Comcast Xfinity / channel 239, AT&T u-verse / channel 456 and DISH Network/ channel 113.
