The Boys Of Whiskey Dawn Are Ready To Make Their Mark In The Business

Whiskey Dawn - 12th & Porter, Nashville TN

Rising California ‘New Country’ Buzz Band, Whiskey Dawn are back in their home state after two very successful high-profile showcase dates at respected venues The National Underground and 12th & Porter in Country Music Capital USA, Nashville, TN. Additionally the group has been added to rotation at NMGRadio.com, on Big Joe’s Big Radio Show (hosted by NMG Editor, Joe Matthews).
In Nashville, Whiskey Dawn wowed both country music industry taste-makers and fans alike. “We were really excited to welcome Whiskey Dawn to the National Underground Nashville,” states NUN Manager, Neeka DeGraw. “They brought a young fresh approach to Country music that satisfied every new and old country soul…they are exactly the type of talent that our venue is here to support and showcase,” concludes DeGraw.
As a result of their performances, the band landed “house” spots at both National Underground and Cadillac Ranch – with plans underway for Whiskey Dawn to be returning to Nashville in the immediate future.
Whiskey Dawn has broken the mold for “California Country”. With the release of their first original album, Dear Nashville, Whiskey Dawn’s popularity skyrocketed to unimagined heights. Regularly featured on 101.9 The Wolf and 105.1 in Sacramento, Whiskey Dawn’s music has been heard up and down the state of California, Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona. Whiskey Dawn has sold thousands of copies of Dear Nashville and are now in the process of recording their sophomore album. They will release two singles this fall.
Whiskey Dawn has performed with several Nashville acts, including Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Clay Walker, Lady Antebellum, and many more. Quickly becoming the favorite band at each new venue, they have performed over 100 shows per year, captivating audiences with precision harmonies and dynamic instrumentation.
The foundation for their success started over a decade ago. Troy, Mike, and Jeremy began singing and playing music together in high school. It only took them ten years to realize how special it was to have three uniquely talented friends – all with a passion for music. With the addition of superb musicians Kevin Maxwell and Johnny Meyers out of Reno, Nevada, the group has begun winning over country music fans throughout the western United States and are working their way east at an accelerating pace.
