Vans Warped Tour Brings Big Sound to Nashville Fairgrounds

Thousands of fans turned out this summer at the Fairgrounds in Nashville for the Vans Warped Tour. The crowds at any of these Warped Tour stops are not afraid to stand out and as far as the music goes, they expect lots of shredding.

“We don’t want to hear quiet ballads. We expect very loud and very moving, just an adrenaline rush,” said one fan.

The crowd is mostly 18 to 30 years old, with a few exceptions — we can’t forget our fans from the origins of this heavy rock genre that are now rocking their decades’ old tattoos and long gray hair.

Fans hydrate while the bands gyrate to what has become a summer tradition. The Vans Warped Tour is called the largest traveling music festival in the country. About 7,000 people attended the show in Nashville.
