|Chart-topping Country star Toby Keith released the music video for his new single “35 MPH Town” today exclusively on NASH TV at www.nashtv.com. The video will be carried on all NASH TV platforms including Cumulus Media, Inc. and NASH exclusive partner Music Choice On Demand, which brings NASH TV to 57 million homes through cable TV.
Toby Keith has also been selected as the first artist for NASH TV’s “Real Live Performance” series, which features the best in live Country music shows, from intimate concerts to sold-out performances. Each week, Keith’s live rendition of one of his songs will be played across the NASH TV platform; each of the performances were filmed at legendary JBTV Studios in Chicago.
“We are delighted that Toby has chosen to launch his music video on NASH TV and to participate in the NASH Real Live Performance Series, which will connect Toby with his enthusiastic fan base in a unique and innovative way,” said John Dickey, Executive Vice President, Content and Programming for Cumulus.
“I’m proud to make my video debut of ’35 MPH Town’ on NASH TV, which is a hot new channel that is connecting with country fans in a big way,” said Toby Keith. “Along with the new single, we’ve got a whole show that will be rolled out song-by-song every week on NASH TV, so watch and enjoy!”
“One of the reasons why we chose Toby Keith as our first Real Live Performance artist is because his concerts embody the best of live entertainment: powerful storytelling, electric energy, and a visceral connection to the audience. He has proven that year after year,” said Stokes Nielson, Director of NASH TV.
Toby Keith is one of the most celebrated Country artists of his era, selling more than 38 million copies of his albums and winning accolades including BMI’s Country Songwriter/Artist of the
Year, American Country Awards’ Artist of the Decade and Billboard’s Number One Country Artist of the Decade. His song “Red Solo Cup” has become a viral sensation with more than 30 million music video views, topping the downloaded Country songs charts.
This June, Keith will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and his “Good Times & Pick Up Lines” Tour, presented by Ford F-Series, will kick off on May 29 in Mountain View, California.
