Country music superstar TG Sheppard, who charted 21 No.1 hits during his career including “Devil In The Bottle” and “Last Cheater’s Waltz” and his wife, Kelly Lang, will be appearing at “Something To Smile About” at The Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, June 29 at 8:00 PM. The concert, which benefits the Interfaith Dental Clinic, will also feature Tim Nichols, James Dean Hicks & Brinn Black.
Early in his career, TG was named Best New Male Artist by CASH BOX. He was also nominated for Song of the Year and Most Promising Male Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music. During the next two decades, TG charted 10 consecutive No. 1 hits including, “Only One You”, “Party Time”, and “War Is Hell (On The Homefront)”. TG started in Memphis where he signed with Motown Records, which was working to break into the country music scene. During this time, TG developed a close personal and professional relationship with Elvis Presley. Elvis gave TG his first tour bus to help him jump-start his career and hit the road full-time.
