Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce today’s new self-titled album release by AMERICAN DRIVE. The band made their debut during their Official Showcase at the International Bluegrass Music Association’s World of Bluegrass convention last month in Nashville. This performance highlighted the group’s brand of high octane bluegrass and earned them a well deserved standing ovation. TERRY HERD, Host of Bluegrass Radio Network’s Into the Blue said, “Imagine, a band assembled, trained and led by the legendary JD Crowe. How could it possibly get any better?”

“I am very proud to see that all of the current members of The New South are going to continue on with their own group, American Drive. After listening to American Drive’s debut CD, I’m sure you will agree that Bluegrass Music will be well represented when being played by this band. This is a top notch recording,” said banjo legend J.D. CROWE this week.

Radio has definitely welcomed the band along with their first single release, “Long Haul Trucking Man.” CHARLIE HALL WCYO Radio Host in Kentucky said, “Take a ride with American Drive, but make sure your seat belt is good and tight!” The full album is now available to radio stations at AirplayDirect.com/AmericanDrive and is already the #7 most downloaded album on the Top 50 APD Bluegrass/Folk Album Chart for October.

The band includes the top talents of: RICKEY WASSON (Lead/Harmony Vocals, Guitar), DWIGHT MCCALL (Lead/Harmony Vocals, Mandolin), MATT DESPAIN (Lead/Harmony Vocals, Resonator Guitar) and KYLE PERKINS (Bass). AMERICAN DRIVE will soon be announcing their newest member, so fans are encouraged to sign up for newsletters at AmericanDriveBand.com and and purchase a copy of the new album. The band invites fans to also join them on Twitter and Facebook.
