 Musicians Corner, Centennial Park’s free music series, has announced its Lightning 100 Acoustic Stage lineup, and unveiled a calendar of the Mix 92.9 Kidsville activities taking place throughout the afternoon. Acoustic Stage artists are listed above, and Kidsville highlights include various crafting activities, musical meet and greets, and lessons from some of Music City’s most talented musicians.
“Musicians Corner is happy to provide a stage for so many talented artists in Centennial Park. We’re excited to announce 27 more artists who will perform acoustic sets during our spring season in May and June,” said Musicians Corner Executive Director John Tumminello. In Regard to the Kidsville activites he commented, “Every Saturday, our youth visitors have an opportunity to learn, explore, and create at Kidsville through a diverse curriculum of educational play activities. Musicians Corner will kick off its fifth anniversary spring season on May 9th. Performances will take place each Saturday from 12-5pm, capping the season off with back-to-back gatherings on June 27 & 28th. Musicians Corner will be located in the front of Centennial Park by 25th Ave and West End. Construction is underway on the permanent location, which is expected to be ready for the fall 2015 season. |
