McDowell and Baltimore Orioles Owner, Steve Geppi Take Over Tootsie’s Stage Following The Video Release of Their Daddy-O Collaboration

Legendary entertainer Ronnie McDowell surprised a packed housed of country music fans this month at downtown Nashville’s most legendary honky tonk, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. McDowell was joined by his buddy, Baltimore Orioles owner Steve Geppi. The two most recently recorded together this summer with Bill Medleyand Billy Swan under the name Daddy-O.
The impromptu performance had patrons dancing on stage and singing along to “The Twist,” “Great Balls of Fire,” and some Elvis Presley favorites.
That classic rock and roll sound was the inspiration for the Daddy-O recordings. The project, which is currently being recorded, has already produced a new video for the original song written by Ronnie McDowell and Steve Geppi, “Bring Back Rock and Roll.” You can view the video on the television show, Classic Country and You Tube, https://youtu.be/vg7UEW43_GM.
The upcoming EP will also include the original rock and roll song, “Rocket 88.” In the meantime, Ronnie McDowell is set to release a Christmas project titled, “Red, White and Blue Christmas.” McDowell’s new television show, “Painting America,” is in production as well, featuring his original artwork and music while raising money for children’s charities.
