Manny Blu Celebrates EP New Ink on Nov 13th with Socially Distanced Show & Livestream

After months of remaining off the road and refraining from in-person appearances and performances, Manny Blu prepares to release his sophomore EP New Ink on Nov. 13 with a live, in-person show at 6th & Peabody, based in Nashville, Tenn. on the same day. Kicking off at 7:30 p.m. CT with a set by Blaine Holcomb, the event is free and open to the public.

VIP tickets are available and will include two drinks tickets along with a merchandise package that consists of a tee-shirt, sticker pack, koozie and a limited edition signed copy of New Ink on vinyl. Purchase VIP tickets HERE.

For those who cannot attend the live performance, a Livestream of the show will be available. Livestream tickets are available for purchase HERE and will include merchandise packages.

With the help of the popular outdoor music venue, Blu is excited to experience live show energy that New Ink was inspired by, saying, “I’m what some may call a ‘road dog,’ and I’m proud of that. I can’t wait to get out on that stage and share this new music with everyone. 6th & Peabody has been amazing to work with to make sure everything goes smoothly, and everyone is safe.”

With others’ safety being the pinnacle of priority, 6th & Peabody has created a safe environment for all to enjoy live music once again. Working closely with the CDC and Metro Nashville Health, the open-air live music venue is equipped with a list of preventative measures that include face mask requirements, limited capacity, daily health check for all staff members, and weekly walk-throughs with the health department.

Patrons attending the show are asked to remain at their assigned tables and will receive prompt table service throughout their musical experience. This allows for keeping concertgoers safe and comfortable from long, crowded lines at the bar and unwanted interactions with other parties.

In addition to the evening’s performances, Blu has partnered with Travis Austin, a Nashville based designer, to join the celebration with a pop-up shop of his latest creation, the Music City Outlaw Collection. View Travis Austin’s work here

After the success of his first single “Born to Ride” (currently with over 300K views on YouTube), there is much to anticipate with Blu’s upcoming EP New Ink. Recruiting some of the top songwriters in Nashville, including Josh Osborne, Ross Copperman, and Rhett Akins, New Ink is destined to leave listeners wanting more.

With his amplified mix of country twang and heavy rock & roll attitude, Manny brings his rebellious outlaw vibe to country music, creating an original sound that makes room for his blues and rock upbringing. Produced by Aaron Eshuis (Cole Swindell, Ryan Hurd), each of the five tracks heard on New Ink live in an edgy new space with rock-based instrumentals at the forefront.

Recorded at OmniSound Studios in Nashville, New Ink speaks directly to what Manny himself calls the “true heart” of the band’s live shows: “There’s more rock, more soul, and more volume this time around. It’s bigger and louder, but it’s still me. And more importantly, it’s still fun.” The upcoming EP will be available Nov. 13 and is currently available for pre-save or pre-purchase HERE.

When it comes to streaming, 2020 has already been a landmark year for the up-and-coming artist, with over 1 million global streams this year, leading Blu to the development of international expansion with the addition of teams in the US, Canada, and the UK. Manny continues to bring his vibe to country music–a sound he introduced with Leave It Like It Is, his debut record (2019) that earned him thousands of new fans and presented him with the opportunity to hit the road across Canada and the US.

Last spring, Manny spent two months crossing Canada while opening for George Canyon’s “Hit After Hit Tour” and then headlined his Canadian tour to close out the year.

Earlier this spring, Manny crossed the US and Canada on another headlining tour. Fans can expect new show announcements in the coming months.  Fans can stay up to date on news and announcements from MANNY BLU by checking out his website or following along on Instagram and Facebook.
