Combs’ Amazon Music performance will be available by visiting Amazon Live – Amazon.com/live – on desktop, mobile, Fire tablet, or via the Amazon Shopping App on Fire TV. Luke Combs, who The New York Times calls, “the most promising and influential new country star of the last five years,” is a multi-platinum, ACM, CMA, CMT and Billboard Music Award-winning artist from Asheville, NC. He released his new deluxe album, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, this past Friday via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville, which features all 18 songs from his platinum-certified, global #1 record, What You See Is What You Get, as well as five new tracks including a collaboration with Amanda Shires. What You See Is What You Get was released last fall and debuted at #1 on both the all-genre Billboard 200 chart as well as Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The album recently spent its 25th week at #1 on the Top Country Albums chart making Combs the first artist ever to have their first two studio albums spend 25 weeks or more at #1—breaking Taylor Swift’s previously held record at 24 weeks. The album also enjoyed the largest streaming week ever for a country album with 74 million on-demand streams and features his single, “Lovin’ On You,” which has spent multiple weeks at #1 at country radio. Continuing his triumphant run at country radio, this is Combs’ ninth-consecutive #1 single—a first on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart—as well as his eighth multi-week #1. Additionally, Combs’ current single, “Better Together,” is already top 25 at country radio and rising. Adding to a series of groundbreaking and historic years, Combs recently won two awards at the 55th ACM Awards, three awards at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards and is nominated for six awards at the 54th CMA Awards including Entertainer of the Year. Moreover, his triple Platinum debut album, This One’s For You, has now spent 50 non-consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart—tying the record for longest reign atop the chart—and was the most-streamed country album of 2019.
