Lillimure With Her Latest Single WDYTM Creates A Blend of Folk, R&B and Hip Hop That Works

Alternative pop artist Lillimure shares her latest new music with fans around the world. 19 year old pop artist Lillimure is a singer/songwriter from the heart of Westchester, New York. Her music is an amazing combination of folk storytelling. It’s soulful with inviting vocals and lyrics.

Lillimure’s music follows the life experiences she has, even in her young life, she’s learned valuable lessons passed on her songs. Her hope is that she can share something special, give people a laugh, maybe a good cry, and a chance to feel so many wonderful emotions in between.

“This single is a taste of an album that I plan on releasing in June. I’m very exited about my new material because I truly feel that it represents me and where I am now.” ~Lillimure~

As a young gymnast, Lilliumure never thought that something she considered a hobby, something that she enjoyed as a child would one day be her life’s work. After an injury sidelined her gymnastic career, songwriting became her full time career path in life. Music was the only thing that emotionally fulfilled her after critically tearing a ligament in her wrist.

Lillimure has a solid fan base of locals in her hometown area. She performs locally and nationally and has appeared at venues such as The Bitter End in New York City, Rockwood Music Hall, also in New York. She has appeared at the Viper Room in LA and The Bistro in San Fransico.

Currently working on her second album and recently promotion her debut EP ‘Canvas” on all the digital platforms available, she is keeping up with business. She is hard working on her full time local shows in and throughout Westchester and the City.

Her latest single “WDYTM” opens with an ethereal vibe that soon shifts into a smooth funky groove beat. It’s mellow relaxing feel is layered with smooth groovin jazzy tones and soulful allure.

Instrumentally this single is solid and filled with bombastic guitar rifts, deep moving bass lines, drums and percussion with a nice class of horns.

I’m particularly excited to show this new material because it’s a little different from the music I have out now, and I’m excited to share my growth with the world. “WDYTM” stands for “Why do you tease me” and it’s about the realization that someone you used to idealize is not all that they seem to be. It’s about growing from disappointments and learning to let things happen in their own time.” ~ Lillimure~

Lillimure has a fresh and creative sound, her ear for what fans are looking for is sharp and she delivers on target the style and type of music that fits well in todays youthful market. She also has the ability to cross over and produce music that influences other age groups and fan based markets because her music fits so well into the 80’s, 90’s sounds as well.

Press Quote: “Lillimure is a singer-songwriter blessed with a unique ability to translate the broad array of emotions she feels into thoughtfully-crafted lyrics with stirring melodies that bring her lyrics to life in her songs.” – Alive with Clive
