KT Tunstall Sells Out Nashville’s City Winery

Running off the success of her 6th album WAX landing on #30 on Billboard’s Independent Albums Chart, singer-songwriter K.T. Tunstall brought down the house at a sold out show on May 21st in Nashville. As fans young and old clamoured into the room, you could feel the slow but gradually increased pulse of excitement as many of them got in on the good food and wine that Music City Winery had to offer. They were even treated during dinner to the chance to both win and buy a bottle of specially made KT Tunstall wine which many partook in. As Dawn Landes hit the stage the room grew quiet in both respect and interest.

Dawn Landes played her set by herself with a guitar and it proved to be more than enough for the crowd. Having a refreshingly breathy and beautiful voice, Landes was able to keep her set both engaging and fun while taking the crowd on a journey of music. Many of her songs has beautiful lyrics that matched the eb and flow of the music that she performed including during “Bluebird.” Landes is as real as it gets and her music is testament of that.

K.T. Tunstall came on stage grabbing the attention of the crowd through music and plenty of jokes through the hour and a half set that she played. Energetic, fun, and hilarious are only a few words to describe what Tunstall had in store for the fans who came out. Many times throughout the night fans were up dancing next to their tables and in the aisles on the floor adding to the overall feeling of pure joy throughout the room. “The River” proved to be a huge hit for everyone in the room along with a mashup cover of songs that ladies in the 80’s came out with and “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree.” K.T. ended the night with a standing ovation from the crowd that proved she has more than earned her place in the singer-songwriter realm.
