Kansas Native and Folk Artist Todd Warner Moore Releases Third Full Length Album “Love & Change”

In 2018 his critically acclaimed album release “Spark” made beautiful waves across the country. Now, Moore has done it again. This is his third full-length album and he has left nothing to chance.

Kansas City native and folk/pop artist, Todd Warner Moore recently released “Love & Change” to strong reviews.

Songs For The Moment, Glenn Rodriquez said, “This record gives us great vocals, instrumentation, and wonderful worlds and stories built on melody,” and Mike Mineo from Obscure Sound says, “The album’s self-titled track is a soaring duet, with lively acoustics joining alongside the tender accompanying strings and heartfelt dual vocalists.

I agree with both, this album brings beautiful melodies, inviting harmonies, and spirited acoustics that excite the listener. Todd Warner Moore always hits the mark.

Currently based in Hong Kong, Moore has the natural feel for acoustic vigor and melodious liveliness. You’ll be tapping a toe and swaying to the tunes immediately. Todd has lived on Lamma Island in Hong Kong for eight years, he performs at local pubs and small festivals honing his amazing skills.

During the 90’s Warner toured with a group called Acoustic Juice through out the Midwest/US and co-wrote several songs with them. He also performed solo melodies in quaint tea houses throughout Budapest, Hungary where his band Tea Thieves would be born and also where his album “Long Days” would be completed.

“Gift” is a lovely song with a gentle rolling flow that guides the melody from beginning to end. The harmony and acoustic connections build the song nicely. The entire album is mixed and mastered to perfection.

Harmonies on this collection are superb and tight. The harmony parts were meant to flow like this and do so with comfort and ease. The instrumentation on the album is spot on. Each musician holds his own and stands alone yet fits nicely together as tight as a puzzle, knowing each others exact positioning on each note.

“With lyrics that focus heavily on the art of storytelling first meetings, tough goodbyes, and everything in between, Moore characterizes the definition of a raw musician. “Goodbye on a sunny day brightens all the shadows in a beautiful way” is a memorable lyric as it coexists among the emotions of happiness and sadness all in one. For the music connoisseur who wants to kick it back to original and one of a kind musicianship, do yourself a favor and start streaming the playlist.” ~The Music Court~

Moore holds true to his previous releases with the style and feel of evergreen folk music indicative of artists Bob Dylan and Neil Young. His music has been described as ambient and cinematic.

Musicians performing on this album are Todd Warner Moore graces us once again with harmonic vocals, and singing acoustic and electric guitar, Leah Hart and Michael Kentish accompany with backing vocals. The talented Jamie Howell impresses on electric guitar, Roberto Diana is amazing on dobro and steel guitar. William Stewart lends his talents on violin and viola. Daniel González shines on cello, Davide Severi is poetic on piano, Issar Shulman holds things solid with double bass, and Larry Salzman rounds out the set on percussion.

Todd has been likened to Van Morrison, Andrew Bird, and Bob Dylan and dances nicely in the genres of Folk, Pop, Americana, and Eclectic Indie.

“Sonically, this album is amazing. The mixes are larger than life, each element can be clearly distinguished while still melding into a cohesive wall of sound that hits with an emotional force so strong you have no choice but to stop and absorb the frequencies as they grab you.” ~MTM: Middle Tennessee Music.com~
