Join Compass Records artists John Cowan, Claire Lynch, Alison Brown and special guest Forrest O’Connor at The Franklin Theatre on November 14th for an evening of music to commemorate the 150th anniversary of The Battle of Franklin. The concert is timed to coincide with the State of Tennessee’s annual Sesquicentennial event and proceeds will go to support efforts to acquire the Carter Hill Garden (a significant battlefield site). This collaborative evening of music will include original selections inspired by those who fought as well as music that was well known during the time of the Civil War.
