CHARITY NEWS:

Christmas 4 Kids, a non-profit organization that benefits hundreds of underprivileged children in Middle Tennessee, has announced its concert fund raiser. Please visit via a link at http://christmas4kids.org.  Christmas 4 Kids has been in existence for over three decades. Each year, the organization provides hundreds of underprivileged children in Middle Tennessee with their very own Christmas shopping spree. The funds generated by the Ryman concert and Tour Bus Show/Artist Meet and Greet event, are used to give over 400 children from 29 different schools, a day-long shopping excursion.

CHRISTMAS ALBUM NEWS:

Multi-Platinum entertainer Brett Young brightens the holiday season, unwrapping his first-ever Christmas album — Brett Young & Friends Sing The Christmas Classics (BMLG Records) — on October 22.

Enlisting an all-star lineup of collaborators including Colbie Caillat, Sam Fischer, Dann Huff, Darius Rucker, Maddie & Tae, Chris Tomlin and Phil Wickham, the eight-song collection is now available for pre-order here with “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” ft. Sam Fischer.

Later this year, Young will bring the album’s soulful stylings and must-see duets to television with “CMT Crossroads Christmas: Brett Young & Friends.” More details will be announced in the coming weeks.

“I’ve always known that I wanted to make a Christmas album one day, it was just a matter of figuring out how I could do something a little bit different,” said Young. “It means the world that so many incredible artists who I respect were open to singing with me on the project… we don’t take the title ‘Brett Young and Friends’ lightly!”

Entertainment icon Marie Osmond will spread the holiday spirit across the country this winter as she embarks on A Symphonic Christmas tour with special guests David Osmond and Daniel Emmet. A Symphonic Christmas launches Dec. 1 at Southern Utah State University, continues along the west and east coasts and wraps on Dec. 20 in Detroit, Mich. Fans can look forward to the multiple gold and platinum-selling artist and CMA winner performing festive favorites as well as Billboard chart-topping singles from her five-decade career. Osmond will also enchant audiences with songs off her upcoming Unexpected album, which covers a multitude of styles from opera to Broadway to timeless classics. Unexpected is slated for release on Dec. 10 via Oliveme LLC and BFD/The Orchard.

DISTRIBUTION DEAL:

Traditional country music artist CJ Garton has signed an exclusive distribution deal with New Day Christian in Nashville, TN.

The first release through the new partnership is Garton’s new double country music album Tales Of The Ole West And Other Libations To Please The Palate on his own G-Bar Records.  

A limited amount of vinyl copies can be purchased through Garton’s website and select retail stores.  

Each vinyl purchase will include a code for the digital download.  The album will be universally available on all digital music platforms on October 22nd at www.cjgarton.com.  

CJ Garton is a 6th generation rancher living on a cattle farm that was founded by his family during the land run in the 1800’s just outside of Bristow, Oklahoma.

DOVE AWARDS NEWS:

The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced Dove Award-winning Artists Natalie Grant and Jonathan McReynolds will co-host this year’s GMA Dove Awards. Also revealed were the first slate of nominated performers including: Lauren Daigle, Elevation Worship, KB, CeCe Winans and Zach Williams.

The 52nd GMA Dove Awards are set to air exclusively on TBN, Friday, October 22nd, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. ET and again at 10:00 p.m. ET. The event will take place live and in person in Nashville, TN, October 19th, 2021. A limited number of tickets and Fan Experiences are still available on https://doveawards.com.  

This will be Jonathan McReynolds’s first time hosting as he joins Natalie Grant, who first hosted in 2010. Both artists are current nominees and will be performing live on the show. The theme of this year’s show is “Stronger Together” – highlighting the strength in unity and resilience among the Christian/Gospel music community over the past year. EP NEWS:

Ray Fulcher steps further into the limelight with the release of his new EP Larkin Hill available now on Black River as the follow-up to his hugely successful independent EP, Somebody Like Me, which has since garnered more than 30 million streams.  All five songs are digitally available at https://orcd.co/larkinhillmixes.   

“Compliment” debuted on top playlists, and “Girl in It” continues to grow in streams and is featured on top playlists.  Fresh off an entire weekend of playing shows, packing his bags for a fall tour is a lot easier for Fulcher now as he’s recently partnered with Boot Barn.

Fulcher joins friend and writing partner Luke Combs and Ashley McBryde on the What You See Is What You Get tour and supports Ashley McBryde on select dates.
