Inside Track on Music Row: March 2019

ARTIST NEWS:

Country Star John Rich and Eastside Distilling recently hosted a party for distributors, retail partners, media and team at Redneck Riviera bar on Nashville’s Lower Broadway to celebrate the launch of Redneck Riviera Whiskey’s Granny Rich Reserve. Rich celebrated the 87th birthday of his grandmother, Ann ‘Granny’ Rich, after whom the whiskey is named, at his Nashville bar. Granny Rich, who still smokes and drinks whiskey, had a final say in the blend, said Rich. Granny Rich Reserve is a premium-priced blend of traditional corn whiskey, aged three years or more, blended with American single malt aged at least four years. Granny Rich Reserve will be available where all Redneck Riviera Whiskey is sold in Spring 2019. Big & Rich have entered into a partnership with Reviver Records. This move reunites the duo with Reviver Records’ President Gator Michaels. Effective immediately, Reviver Records will promote the duo’s latest single “Brand New Buzz,” to radio. Additionally Rich and Big Kenny are getting ready for their 2019 “Peace, Love & Happy Hour Tour” presented by Redneck Rivera Whiskey that will kick-off April 9 in Green Cove Springs, FL.
