ALBUM NEWS:
Shenandoah returned to the studio in May to continue recording their upcoming album for Foundry Records, which is being produced by Buddy Cannon. They are practicing safety measures and invited St. Thomas West Critical Care Team Leader, Gary Woodward, to take temperatures, screen all session participants prior to entry, advise safe distancing practices, supervise cleaning procedures as well as brief everyone in attendance before the session began. As Nashville and the greater music community discerns a proper pathway forward as a result of the COVID-19 restrictions, safe but reasonable measures are being put in place to ensure the safety and familiar camaraderie necessary to continue to produce and release new and exciting music to their audiences.

All aboard the “Struggle Bus!” Clayton Anderson’s newest single is literally a head-banging country anthem about the nights that inspire us to live life to the fullest… and the slow-moving mornings that are sure to follow. Releasing in May, “Struggle Bus” offers its own kind of musical hangover cure: a cocktail of bright pop hooks, a killer chorus, a little banjo, and the roll-up-your-sleeves swagger of Clayton’s midwestern roots. “I try to bring the old-school to the new school,” sings Clayton, who co-wrote the song with Bryce Fox and Daniel Webber. Raised in southern Indiana, Clayton grew up listening to John Mellencamp, Bob Seger, and other blue-collar icons who made modern music rooted in the ideals of small-town America. Now living in Nashville, Clayton strikes the same balance with his own music. “Struggle Bus” is a country song for the modern world, but there’s something undeniably classic about Clayton’s approach. Fresh off the win of the Fan Army award from iHeartRadio’s Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards, Scooter Brown Band released their first single since American Son. Exclusively premiered by Sounds Like Nashville, “Leave It To A Woman” is all about lifting up women. As the song opens up softly, it slowly grows into a full-on ballad with a southern rock twist well-known to Scooter Brown Band fans. Fans can stream and download the single now. “We’re so excited to be releasing new music for the first time in over two years. I fell in love with this song the day we wrote it. This song goes out to my wife, Vicki, I wouldn’t be where I am today without her,” says Scooter Brown. Dailey & Vincent and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds have announced the full Artist lineup for their annual LandFest In The Mountains & On The Lakes music festival, presented by Springer Mountain Farms and celebrating the best of American music. The festival, which will return to Hiawassee, GA, September 17-19, will be adapting to the “new normal” amidst health concerns – and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds has guaranteed that it will refund all ticket buyers if the festival is unable to take place due to any government-mandated orders. This year’s festival will feature Dailey & Vincent, along with headliners Charlie Daniels, Diamond Rio, Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers, and a special 2-hour Salute to the Grand Ole Opry featuring Opry Stars Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Dailey & Vincent, comedian Karen Mills, and hosted by the iconic and legendary Eddie Stubs. Mercury Nashville recording artist Travis Denning’s highly-anticipated debut EP Beer’s Better Cold, is now available. Six diverse tracks (five of which Denning co-wrote) were produced by Jeremy Stover with a mind toward Denning’s live show, itself a full-throttle affair. Fans were given a first taste of what to expect with Denning’s first Top 5 – and climbing – single “After A Few,” about a couple whose passion could erupt at any moment. “After A Few,” has already set a record for spending the longest time on the Country Airplay charts – 60+ weeks so far – and still rising. “I’m so pumped to finally have this music out,” shared Travis Denning. “We’ve poured a lot of passion, hours and life into these songs. I hope when people turn these songs up they hear that.” Denning came to Nashville in 2014 and snagged a song publishing deal with RED Creative, writing songs for Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Michael Ray and Chase Rice, among others.
