Indie singer-songwriter and recording artist, Trey Rose (4th & Laurel Publishing released his newest single, “Damn,” in late July. Co-written by Rose (former front running contender on The Voice/Season 16 – NBC 2019), Rizzi Myers and DJ KO, who also produced the track, the jiggy original is now available via all digital and streaming outlets. The new tune follows Rose’s June 2020 single release, titled “Gone,” and is the second release since his appearance on the reality competition show. Catering to multiple genres, Rose lets his music speak for itself. Producing pop-infused compositions complemented by straightforward lyrics and gritty vocals that make a statement plain and simple; “Damn” is no exception. The Voice contestant, and Oklahoma native’s success took flight during the nationally televised show as part Rose’s audition and the “Vintage Battle” between Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Recognizing the similarities between his personal musical style and that of the Maroon 5 lead singer, Rose elected Levine as his coach. My friend and Grammy award-winning, country music songwriter and producer, Frank Myers (FJM Productions) is set to release his new original song, “God’s Got This,” in late-August. Co-written with Richie McDonald (Lonestar) and produced alongside Jimmy Nichols, the track will be available Friday, August 28, 2020 via all major digital retail and streaming outlets. While Myers is most widely recognized as a hit songwriter with a list of industry accolades and as an award-winning producer he stepped behind the microphone in faith to record and deliver the timely and pensive single “God’s Got This.” “I was going through some personal things in my life and I realized I was powerless in the situation. I just sat back, closed my eyes, and the words ‘God’s Got This’ came to me,” said Myers. “…and now, in listening to the media, reading posts with frantic reactions to current events, my heart felt burdened. I wanted to share this message of faith. I hope the message offers anyone listening, a renewal of faith to believe that no matter the struggle, HE is right here with us.” More at https://www.frankmyersmusic.com/

Rising country music star Laine Hardy released his brand-new song “Tiny Town” July 10. Both a studio version and a stripped-down acoustic track are available at https://smarturl.it/LHTinyTown and the “Tiny Town” acoustic music video is now live. Written by Michael Tyler and produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett), the down-to-earth lyric rings with humble honesty coming from the Livingston, Louisiana (pop. 2,000) native. The new music is a welcome bit of good news, as the singer announced a Covid-19 diagnosis in June. The 19-year old is thankful for what has been a mild case and successful recovery. “What a crazy summer,” said Laine. “I am lucky to be feeling better and want everyone to stay safe and healthy out there. It is more important now than ever for younger people to step up,” Laine plans to continue his virtual tour with a second leg this summer.
