Liquorsmiths is a folk rock band from San Diego CA. Their new EP “This Book Belongs To” is a six track collection of some of the best music you’ll hear this year. Comprised of Drew Thams – Vocals / Guitar , Ryan Fischer – Keyboards / Percussion , and Clayton Payne – Drums, these guys make a rock solid team. The blend of lyrics with percussion and the six string guitar make for a unique an d sought after sound.

Deeply passionate and filled with sincerity the seductive rhythmic guitar and percussion take you back to days of old when life was peaceful and happy. Days were filled with trips to the river and jumping off that old tire swing and squealing with glee at the splash of cold crisp river freshness.

Get Well Soon” will break away the wall of mold that has built up in our minds over the years with boring dribble that just repeats itself and give us a fresh start to every day. It’s full of life, full of brightness.

Reminiscent of Bob Dylan, LiquorSmiths presents pure enjoyable music. It’s not masked by studio effects and they play true to what they feel.

Thief” presents with a vision of fluid movement enticing your heart to open up and let your feelings be known. As you fold yourself into the gentle rocking of the lyrics you have to listen to every word. They draw you in and mesmerize you. The lyrics are so powerful throughout the entire mini album that you will stop everything your doing so that you wont’ miss a single word or phrase.

“A truly captivating live performance. I’ve witnessed on repeated occasions their ability to gradually pull in even the toughest of crowds to share in their heartfelt experiences. I’d urge anyone who has not yet had the opportunity to catch one of their performances to do so as soon as they have the chance, but beware that it could become quite the addiction.”
