Country Radio Seminar 50 A Success with Warner & BMLG Luncheons, Opening Ceremonies, Amazon Heat New Faces and More

Another great noteworthy event during CRS50 was the BMLG Luncheon.

Offering a star-studded encore celebration during the last day of the 50th Annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS), Big Machine Label Group showcased superstars and in-demand newcomers at the Omni Hotel in Nashville. The signature luncheon welcomes Country radio and industry executives, treating them to performances earlier this afternoon (2/15) from the eclectic roster of talent – RASCAL FLATTSBRANTLEY GILBERTRILEY GREENLAUREN JENKINS and NOAH SCHNACKY.

BMLG President & CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA invited the room to preview new music and celebrate career milestones they helped create alongside imprint leaders JIMMY HARNEN (BMLG EVP & BMLG Records President), GEORGE BRINER (The Valory Music Co. GM) and JIM WEATHERSON (Big Machine Records GM).

Rising hitmaker RILEY GREEN kicked things off with a high-powered set including fan-favorites “In Love By Now,” “Georgia Time” and “Bettin’ Man,” before launching into Top-10-and-climbing debut “There Was This Girl.” The BMLG Records singer/songwriter recently made his national TV debut on NBC’s TODAY and announced plans to join Brad Paisley’s 2019 WORLD TOUR this summer.

 Named one of The New York Times’ Artists to Watch for 2019, LAUREN JENKINS eagerly awaits the release of her debut album NO SAINT, out March 15 via Big Machine Records. She kicked off her set with the trailer for her short film titled Running Out of Road, before performing the song by the same name as well as “Maker’s Mark and You.” Her alluring delivery proved why the album is “one of 2019’s more anticipated releases in the borderless world of country music” (American Songwriter).

 MULIT-PLATINUM selling entertainer BRANTLEY GILBERT kicked the show into high gear with a raucous set featuring “Kick It In The Sticks,” “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “Bottoms Up” as well as “Dirt Road Anthem,” which he co-wrote and Jason Aldean recorded. The Valory Music Co. artist brought out a surprise guest for the debut performance of his sweeping duet with LINDSAY ELL, “What Happens In A Small Town,” which is currently ascending at Country radio.

Big Machine Records’ newest signee NOAH SCHNACKY made his CRS debut before the at-capacity crowd. The 22-year-old charmed attendees with his self-penned “Hello Beautiful” and “Maybe We Will,” which fans have already streamed over 50 million times.

Superstar vocal group RASCAL FLATTS proved why they are one of the hottest-selling touring acts in any genre and the most awarded Country group of the past decade. With nearly two decades of chart-toppers, the trio closed out the showcase with a plethora of their greatest hits, including “Yours If You Want It,” “I Like The Sound Of That,” “What Hurts The Most, “Life is a Highway” and their new single “Back To Life” (Big Machine Records), earning a standing ovation. Rascal Flatts will hit the road this summer headlining their SUMMER PLAYLIST TOUR, kicking off May 16 in Cincinnati, OH.
