“Our members are a vital part of our Museum family, and their contributions directly support our mission,” said Museum Director Kyle Young. “We created Hot Nights at the Hall as a way to say ‘thank you’ to them; we’re excited to offer them a chance to hear some great music, meet the performers, and enjoy our exhibits after hours.”
The 2011 Hot Nights at the Hall schedule includes:
Friday, June 17 Night Train to Nashville Reunion
The Jimmy Church Band headlines this reunion of R&B performers, many of whom were featured in the Museum’s acclaimed 2004-2005 exhibition Night Train to Nashville: Music City Rhythm & Blues 1945-1970.
Friday, July 8 Stealing Angels
This well-pedigreed new country trio features descendants of Country Music Hall of Fame member Loretta Lynn, John Wayne and Daniel Boone.
Friday, August 5 Carter’s Chord
A trio of sisters, Carter’s Chord grew up immersed in country music – their parents performed with Country Music Hall of Fame member Waylon Jennings. Signed to Toby Keith’s Show Dog record label, their 6-song EP, Wild Together, was recently released.
Each Hot Nights at the Hall event runs from 6 – 9 p.m.; concerts begin at 7 p.m. and will be followed by autograph signings in the Museum Store. For more information on Hot Nights at the Hall or Museum membership, please visit.
