Caylee Hammack’s Stunning Version Of Dolly’s “Hard Candy Christmas”

Becoming known for her “voice to move mountains” (Rolling Stone), Caylee Hammack is lending her spell-binding vocals to a series of beloved holiday songs this festive season. Kicking off the three-part series today, Hammack debuted her unforgettable rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Hard Candy Christmas.”

In the countdown to the holidays, Hammack will also share special versions of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” on 12/21 and “The Christmas Song” on 12/22 on Hammack’s Facebook page at Facebook.com/cayleehammack and Youtube page at Youtube.com/CayleeHammack.

The series comes hot on the heels of NPR and Esquire singling out Hammack’s track “Small Town Hypocrite” as one of their “Best Songs of 2020,” Stereogum heralding the track as “a song of the year” as well as Rolling Stone applauding her debut record as one of their “Best Country And Americana Albums Of 2020.” Hammack has also been turning heads since her debut, garnering mass critical acclaim for her vocals.

Hammack also just released the official music video for her new single “Just Friends.” Hammack pays homage to some of her strongest musical influences from vintage Dolly Parton to 90’s alternative rock in the new clip, directed by Justin Clough, and featuring one of Hammack’s dream collaborators Everclear’s Art Alexakis.

Capitol Nashville singer/songwriter/producer Caylee Hammack just released her debut record IF IT WASN’T FOR YOU on August 14. Since the release, critics have continued to highly praise the 13-track set that sees Hammack with writer and producer credits on every track on the album. “Hammack has arrived with this 13-track adrenaline blast…every song on here plays out like an entry in Hammack’s diary—and is just as compelling…Hammack deserves to be a star” declared Billboard. Recently winning a nod for ACM “Music Event Of The Year,” with Miranda Lambert, Caylee Hammack has been noted as an “Artist To Watch” by outlets including The Bobby Bones Show, Rolling Stone and HITS Magazine. With her breakout Top 30 single “Family Tree” marking the most-added single at Country radio by a female artist in over three years, Hammack, the Capitol Nashville recording artist has previously brought her unforgettable live set to opening slots for Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood, Brothers Osborne and some of country music’s biggest festivals.
