On the evening of February 2nd, a silky smooth voice floated over the crowd at The Lounge at City Winery. Before Hudson Taylor took the stage, Canadian musical artist Craig Stickland poured out soulful heart, song after song.
“Break Every Rule In the Book”, is an emotional tune about love with an aching heart. His voice, connecting with the crowd, made you feel he was telling you a very personal story about his own life.
“Warning” is a song about pursuing someone you know you shouldn’t go after, but do anyway.
The first single from his upcoming album, Starlit Afternoon, “Burn It Down”, was released on January 25th and has a feel good, high energy vibe.
Stickland’s incredible voice range was featured in this acoustic set as well as his instrumental ability, where he played guitar and keyboard. There’s no mistaking that when you hear Craig sing, his voice commands your attention.
Check out his second full length album Starlit Afternoon releasing later this year! There is absolutely no doubt that Craig Stickland will be huge, selling out arenas. We are so excited to watch his journey!
