Mason will be appearing April 8th at The High Watt on Cannery Row with her band The Band Hensley. Her voice and accomplishments to this point would probably call your bluff if you tried to guess her age.

At the young age of 17 her voice is stirring and moving, bringing depth and soul to the lyrics. Kendall began writing and performing at a very young age and has garnered quite the impressive collection of songs published through her own company, EskEmo Records/Granny Pants Music.

Drawing upon the reflections of influence of her father and the opportunity to travel to the world, her music shares an assemblage of various genres delivered in her own unique style and sound. You’ll hear resonances of the melodies and harmonies from cultures such as Costa Rica, Hawaii, Alaska, and Belize.

Kendall Mason has appeared on local televison shows, played local venues, and has won several singer-singwriting competitions with her band which is named after her William Iggiagruk Hensley, an Alaskan Native who spent his life supporting the native Eskimo’s and their rights.

In 2018 Mason released her 6 song EP “Hensley” that was produced by a Los Angeles based producer known for his long time work with several major recording artists and his work on several populr television shows. This collaborative event attracted the attention A&R representatives from SM1/Sony who just recently signed Kendall to a distribution deal.

The combinations of her stage precences, her dynamic vocals, and her blend of Alaskan Native and Italian heritage, accompanied by her unique musical approach sets her in motion as one of the newest up and coming artists this year to appear on the major watch lists.
