Bonnaroo Artist Review: John Townes Earle

Justin Townes Earle, born in Nashville, Tennessee is a true blue Americana, folk and western artist. Son of Steve Earle, Justin has had a great figure to follow after. He has made four albums from 2007 to 2010, and continues to make more incredible music! He has played the Grand Ole Opry in March 2008 and the Bonnaroo stage in 2009. September 2009, Justin received an Americana Music Award. The band also includes Joshua Hedley and Bryn Davies. They will make another appearance at Bonnaroo this June, 2011. Blues electrified is a funky twist that Townes uses on his latest album, Harlem River Blues. Rogers Park includes his soul voice, steel guitar, drums and piano are the perfect blend of Americana blues. Another great hit off his album is “Slippin’ and Slidin.” Definitely all the creative work Justin has put in this album and artist is worth 7 Stars!
