Joshua Hayes Carll is an Americana, Folk artist from Austin, Texas. His raw lyrics tell many stories. His influences include legends like Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson and John Prine. Hayes received an Americana Music Award in 2008. He is signed to the Lost Highway label. His autobiographical lyrics are heavy in his album, KMAG YOYO, released in February 2011. If you like a good soundin’ Dylan song, with some history to it, you will enjoy Hayes Carll. Some great Hayes songs are “KMAG YOYO” and “Grateful For Christmas”. “Bad Liver And a Broken Heart” is an electrified blues song about a bad liver and the heartache of a woman’s love.
