Bonnaroo Artist Review: Abigail Washburn

Abigail is a perfect example of Americana, bluegrass, old time music! Abigail has traveled to many places and speaks Mandarin Chinese but resides in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a vocalist and a clawhammer banjo player. Her latest album, City of Refuge, features “City of Refuge” and “Chains.” These two songs bring out Abigail’s delicate folk voice. The raw sound of the banjo will leave you hooked for many more of her songs! If the sweet sound of ‘ole bluegrass and the acoustic voice interests you, Abigail Washburn is one artist you ought to check it.
