Bobby Bones Funny And Alone Show Breaks Venue Record Selling Out In Minutes

Bobby BonesBobby Bones’ Funny And Alone stand-up comedy show at the Orpheum Theatre in Wichita, KS sold-out in minutes this morning setting a record for the venue’s fastest sell-out ever.  This show marks a handful of solo comedy dates for the iHeartMedia radio host so far, all of which have reached capacity crowds.

“I love doing stand-up comedy and it’s crazy that people want to come watch me do it.  I can’t wait to do more shows all across the country,” said Bobby Bones.

The one man show is set for Saturday, May 21 on the heels of his book release, BARE BONES: I’M NOT LONELY IF YOU’RE READING THIS BOOK.  Available via Harper Collins on May 17, Bobby Bones takes fans on a tour of his road to radio in a touching, funny and at times heart-wrenching memoir.  Growing up in Mountain Pine, AR, with a young, addicted mom, Bobby fell in love with country music.  Abandoned by his father at the age of five, he saw the radio as his way out—a dream that has come to fruition with iHeartMedia’s The Bobby Bones Show now reaching millions, two ACM awards for “National On-Air Personality of the Year” and being deemed “country’s biggest radio star” (CBS News).

Up next, Bobby Bones will perform with his musical comedy band Bobby Bones And The Raging Idiots tonight in Hot Springs, AR and tomorrow in Biloxi, MS.  From there, he’ll head to Austin, TX where he’ll pull double duty performing at the Daytime Village and hosting the main stage at the iHeartCountry Festival on April 30.
