BMLG Records and 19 Recordings Sign Laci Kaye Booth

BMLG Records and 19 Recordings proudly announce today the signing of American Idol alum LACI KAYE BOOTH. Announced by Ryan Seacrest on this year’s Idol finale, the former contestant officially joins the Big Machine Label Group imprint’s superstar roster which boasts Florida Georgia Line, Lady A, Brett Young, Riley Green and Danielle Bradbery.

“Growing up in a small town in Texas, I always knew going to Nashville and sharing my music with the world was all I ever wanted to do, but it always felt like a faraway dream,” says Laci. “Today, to have the opportunity to say I’ve signed with Big Machine Label Group and to know there is a team led by Scott and Jimmy that believes in me is such a blessing. Not to mention Dann Huff who has been my champion since day one. I still can’t believe it, but I know this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

“Dann Huff played me an acoustic live performance of Laci and within three seconds her incredibly unique voice absolutely knocked me out,” says BMLGR President/CEO Jimmy Harnen.

The singer/songwriter moved to Nashville following her time on season 17 of the show. Placing in the top 5, she wowed viewers with her stunning vocals, covering artists from Brett Young to Miranda Lambert. Born and raised in Texas, she has already earned the praise of and written with credited writers including Sara Haze, Nathan Chapman, Dave Barnes, Nathan Barlowe, Kelly Archer, Natalie Hemby and Logan Wall.

Laci is represented by Red Light Management’s Rachel Silver and United Talent Agency’s Nick Meinema and Cass Scripps.
