I really loved “Lost in Loserville” with the deep thumping upright bass feel. It was like Johnny Cash had been reincarnated. Loved the jumping thumping bass sound. The harmonica was cherry red, crisp and bright. Harmonies are smooth and genuine. This is purely awesome music.

One of the most popular songs on the album is “Arms of a Kind Woman” and is definitely one of the more solid and brighter songs in the collection. He’s voice is smooth, deep, and velvety. The instrumentation is deep rooted in soulful Americana and blues expression. The lyrics :IN the distance a hound starts to cry” and then you hear the tinkling of the piano. Makes me feel like I’m in some old blues bar deep in the heart of the south. “In the arms of a kind woman” he rests.

Wow, this is pure gold guys. Your gonna love Phil Gammage.
