This latest album is a 6 track mini-release, introduced in December of 2019. It is a beautiful collection of pop songs with the nostalgic essence of theatrical electronic pop songs relating to love and heartbreak. This is the third included in a set of 3 EP’s for this artist. The first two, “Out of the Blue” and “Disco Disconnected” make this mini collection one you’ll want to have.
Vocals are superb and inviting. Lyrical and fluid, sassy and sweet with a strong pop-rock foundation.
Easton’s influences range from the 90’s moody grooves to Blondies sass and style of pop-rock. Her style and grace is a cool creation of moving and emotional lyrics with an inspiring transcendent voice. Ethereal and mesmerizing it is Pop at it’s best.
“Here is a singer who sounds strong, confident, sassy, sexy and in control of everything. She takes you into that smoky club, complete with red velvet seats; she’s up on that stage and you’re hanging onto every word she sings.” Review of Amanda Easton by Malcolm Carter, Pennyblack Music, Sweden.
Easton is well established in the music industry with two albums and three EP’s to her credit. Her music videos and live performances have appeared on Aussie television including “MTV” and she has graced many a stage throughout Australia and Europe to sold-out shows. Easton has traveled to Japan, Bali, Noumea, and Malaysia.n Stage, 2017
The title track is strong and moving. The opening with the organ sounds is almost eerily taunting but yet tempting. Her vocals are powerful in the entire collection. At times she reminds me of Olivia Newton John with her powerful soprano vocals.
“Polaroids & Postcards” has done well with radio play on Double J Radio in Australia, Amanda has recently had three sold-out shows at the Sydney Opera House and two singles in the top 10 of Australian Independent Record Charts.
I was packing up my Mum’s house when I discovered a box of old letters and photos of mine and it brought back lots of memories! These songs are all from personal experiences – some joy and love, some heartbreak. ~Amanda Easton ~
Amanda has quite the portfolio when it comes to being a well-rounded artist. She performs regularly in productions such as “First Ladies of Soul”, she has performed for the ACE Awards and the ARIA Award. Her backing vocals for musical legends Powederfinger, Marcia Hines, and James Reyne are widely mentioned and she has toured with multi-platinum artists Richard Clapton and Wendy Matthews.
Easton is not just a singer or songwriter, she is a complete entertainer. Her experience and knowledge of production, session performances, recording artists, singers, and showgirls make for a winning package in this industry. The demand for someone with her caliber of experience in the industry is off the charts.
As a showgirl she is currently appearing in many shows bands such as Rumours, The Fleetwood Mac Tribute, and the Classic Kings: Rocking the Seventies. She is the real deal and truly fits the title of “Top Entertainer.”
When not working on her own music Easton enjoys being involved in various different kinds of musical projects including producing and songwriting with other artists.
