Wade Bowen is finding his new album “Solid Ground” climbing the top of iTunes County Album Chart sitting at #4. Bowen just started his three-month tour for his new album. His first stop was Nashville’s very own 3rd & Lindsley, on February 10th.

Bowen drew in a packed crowd, full of eager fans. As soon as Bowen and the band stepped foot on stage the spirit of the night came alive. You could feel the energy in the room.

Wade was pleased to find that the crowd was able to sing every song on his new album, as well as older ones, back at him. He took the time to welcome the crowds voice singing back at him. They were all more than happy to show him how well they know and love his music.

Bowen has a huge stage presence. He is full of energy and fully exhilarated. If you think he sounds good on the album you must hear him live. His silvery smooth vocals shined during the show. His voice showcases perfectly. I highly encourage everyone to watch for him and make time to see him live.

“Solid Ground” is full of stories from Wade’s musical journey. He has a fun and vibrant way of storytelling. Having wrote or co-wrote 10 of the 11 songs on the album. It also features contributions from Miranda Lambert, Andrew Combs, Lucie Silvas, and many more. Bowen used many different genres within this album from country to mariachi. The crowd erupted when “So Long 6th Street” began to play. This is proving to be one of the favorites on the album among fans. Another crowd pleaser was “Day of The Dead”. Bowen seemed to be very pleased with the crowd’s quick reaction to both.

Bowen and the band put on a full two-hour show. The entire set was all about the music. He told very few stories and let the music tell their own stories. He was very humorous when telling stories of some band members misfortunate events in Key West. Bowen has a huge personality that captures the attention of everyone in the room.

This show was the kick off for the 19-show tour. Starting in Nashville and ending in Stephenville, Tx. He will be traveling to the United Kingdom in June for the Black Deer Festival with The Sheepdogs. With the release of his new album and starting a tour 2018 is sure to be his biggest year yet.
