The Roys Making Noise on the Charts, Coming to Nashville

You’re not truly a fan of Bluegrass unless you’re a fan of The Roys. Currently on tour promoting their album Lonesome Whistle, released Rural Rhythm Records, the band has been putting on incendiary performances across the country, from the Country Thunder festival in Wisconsin to the Blue Moon Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Kentucky, the birthplace of Bluegrass.

Last month, Lonesome Whistle made a lot of noise on the charts. It hit No. 1 on Power Source Magazine’s Top 35 Bluegrass Chart, No. 10 on Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine’s Top 15 Albums, No. 14 on Cashbox Magazine’s Top 20, and No. 13 on last week’s Roots Music Report Top 50 Bluegrass Albums. Their hot single, “Coal Minin’ Man” is No. 9 on Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine’s Top 30 Songs, and No. 5 on Bluegrass Music Profiles Magazine’s Top 30 Hot Singles charts.

You’ll soon have an opportunity to check out The Roys here in Nashville. They were chosen as an Official Showcase Artist and will perform during the International Bluegrass Music Association’s World of Bluegrass (IBMA), which takes place from September 26 to October 2. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see one of Bluegrass’ hottest acts!
