Nashville, TENN — The excitement was palpable when Ricky Young and some of his fun-lovin’ pals took the stage and took over Nashville’s Exit/In.

South Carolina native, Ricky Young, who recently released the song “Let the Whiskey Do the Talking” became a fast-rising star to watch after the release of 2011’s Spinning My Wheels (with Grammy award-winning producer Nick Autry) and his follow-up EP, Feels Damn Good, which rose to the Top 20 on the iTunes Country Chart. “Let the Whiskey Do the Talking” was quickly added to rotation on Sirius XMs The Highway and sold more than 30,000 units in the first weeks following release.

Young has proven himself a gifted songwriter and has logged co-writes with some enviable collaborators, including Zac Brown Band, Lee Brice, Dave Gibson, Steven Williams and Stephen Allen Davis. Touring with Honky Tonkin’ University Tour and The Bud Light ROWDYLOUD Tour has taken Ricky to more than 100 cities. He’s also opened for Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Reba McEntire, Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann, Tyler Farr, Eli Young Band, Craig Campbell, Colt Ford, Chase Rice and many more.  Ricky’s tireless touring has established him as one of Nashville’s hottest up-and-comers and his fan base numbers have grown exponentially with over 60,000 Facebook likes and 24,000 Twitter followers. Equally impressive are the more than 1.3 million YouTube views and 300,000+ Spotify streams his music has garnered.

The guest list at the Exit/In show included Bubba Sparxxx, Lee Brice, Dee Jay Silver, Jon Stone and more.
