“Naked Tunes” is one of the hottest new EP’s on the market for Fall. You’ll want to share this with friends and family. Based primarily in Berlin, Germany and Santiago Chile this performer is fresh, organic, intimate and most likely “genius.”

No where will you find this style of easy listening blended with soft rock is reminiscent of the Beatles. No where will you find this smooth and easy melding of pop/easy listening in a single setting. Not like this. His unique style is all his own and creates a landscape in the imagination of life.

The intimacy and personal expression is clean, crisp and inviting. The album “Naked Tunes” brings to mind hot summer beaches, cool summer breezes, and soft shades of sunlight.

Leonino is Jorge González, former leader and vocalist for Los Prisioneros, one of the most iconic rock bands in Chile. Through out the mid 1980’s the three forged a union with youth across the country, across the world, with their open verse, extraordinary talent and no fear of expression.

From ballads to easy rock, to progressive dance music Leonino shares a true gift. All songs from “Naked Tunes” are produce by Leonino in Berlin at the Krossener Studios, all songs but one are mixed and mastered by the talented Tobias Freund, “There Is a Light” is mixed by Matthew Styles-Harris. The album is dedicated to Gia.

Accolades accomplished by Leonino include “Best Song, Album and Act” in 1986 & 1990 in Chile. He was awarded “Best Pop Songwriter of the Decade” in 1997 from the Chilean Society of Songwriters Rights, and performed in 1988 on the Amnesty tour with Sting, Tracy Chapman, Bruce Springsteen, and Peter Gabriel.

After making his statement of freedom to the distressed, humble and broken youth of Latin America he gave them a voice through his. His music has instilled bravery, courage and a fortitude to have free expression without fear of rejection.

“After the Big War” is a tender ballad of holding together love and hope. It is a mix of acoustic guitar and tambourine with a tender expression of not being held back. Loved this one.
