Musicians Corner, a program of The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park, will present Band Together: Classic Songs From Music City at City Winery Nashville on Saturday, March 18.
The concert will feature songs by legendary artists who have made an indelible impression on Nashville; artists like Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, Jimi Hendrix, Gillian Welch and more.
Performers include Sam Palladio (Nashville), Paul McDonald (American Idol), The Sisterhood, Striking Matches, Emily West, KS Rhoads, Olivia Lane, members of Humming House, Dawn Landes, Michael John Hayes and The Farmer and Adele.
Tickets are $20, $25 and $35, and can be purchased here. Proceeds underwrite Musicians Corner’s free music events in Centennial Park.
Last February, Musicians Corner put on Band Together: 1989 (a celebration of the year in music and the Taylor Swift album), which was endorsed by Taylor Swift and reviewed by Billboard. Musicians Corner has also hosted tributes to Paul Simon, The Last Waltz, and Tom Petty. Participating artists include Drew Holcomb, Lennon and Maisy, Sam Palladio, The Secret Sisters, Nicole Atkins, Grant Lee Phillips, Sierra Hull, Leigh Nash, Sarah Potenza, Griffin House, The Shadowboxers, Kris Allen, John and Jacob, Jenny + Tyler, Ruby Amanfu and Angaleena Presley.
