Delta Deep Introduces “East Coast Live”

Delta Deep presents with a powerful line up of veteran artists who have graced the stage and studio with some of the industries biggest heavy weights. Great talents from groups like Def Leppard, Stone Temple Pilots, TLC, and a heavy hitting vocalist who performed with Luther Vandross, just to name a few.

Introducing Delta Deep with “East Coast Live” and man is it alive. This is a crazy collection of some awesome music. Let’s first introduce the group. We have Phil Collen from Def Leppard, Robert DeLeo bassist from Stone Temple Pilots, Vocalist Debbi Blackwell-Cook who sang background vocal for greats like Luther Vandross and Michael Buble. Holding down the rhythm section is Forrest Robinson formerly of TLC, and Engelbert Humperdinck.

Their desire is to create a musical journey that will revive the love of the blues and revive the knowledge of the people who originally presented it. By using their diverse backgrounds they traverse through the history of various supernova genres, thereby infusing together their gifts to stimulate the soulful symphony of blues and rock. The result a blast, of the past and titillating taste of the future, filled with unforgettable music.

“Bless These Blues” is raw blues with electric rock. The vocals are on fire and each member is pushing out 110% what it takes to make number one hit records and chart topping sounds.

Collen’s iconic status to millions of rock fans world wide has propelled this partnership of gifted artists over the top. Debbi Blackwell-Cook, godmother to Collens wife and huge Motown favorite would become the second to solidify the group. Then after many late night family jam sessions and writing songs along with Collen’s wife Helen, they decided to start laying down the tracks and demos. Little did they know they would have history in the making.

Elmore Magazine declaring, “Delta Deep is a rocking force due to bring down any house– historical or modern.

Collen would has gone on to explain how this latest release came about and why they decided on a live album and DVD. “We recorded every night of our 2016 tours, east and west coast, expecting to pull out the best performances from different cities. But we managed to capture one of those special, magical nights where all the stars fall into place in Pawling, NY at Daryl’s House. This whole album was recorded that night. It was so relaxed but we were so on fire at the same.”

San Francisco’s BAM Magazine said, “the live experience for Delta Deep is one not to be missed…Debbi Blackwell-Cook is mesmerizing!”

The group that makes up Delta Deep are each individually gifted in their talents. Each one brings the diverse experiences and expressions of their own musical abilities from the vast portals of the musical spectrum. “The intention was never to have a DVD addition to the CD but seeing the performances live and the fact that Daryl’s House also video records its shows was an added bonus for us.

It is blues, soul, and rock n roll. Joining Phil and Debbie on this grand adventure are Forrest Robinson and Robert DeLeo. Robinson is a superb drummer and well known across the country and the industry from his work with neo-soul singer India.Ari. Robert DeLeo is recognized for his performances with hard rock/grunge group Stone Temple Pilots. Each huge staples in the industry and truly bringing “it” to the table with Delta Deep.
